This course English is for residents of Eindhoven and is paid for by the municipality of Eindhoven. We would like to invite you to participate in the MHFA course! This course is fully in English.
Almost half of adults in the Netherlands will experience mental health issues at some point in their lives. So also people around you. Therefore, take the Standard Mental Health First Aid course. Then you will learn to recognize signals of mental health issues and know how to provide support for such problems.
With the Standard MHFA course you will increase your knowledge about mental disorders in adults and learn to recognize signals of mental health issues. You practice how to start a conversation with someone with whom you suspect mental health issues and how to act if someone is in this situation. With the knowledge and skills you learn in this course, you can really make a difference in the life of someone who is experiencing psychological difficulties.
This course consists of 12 course hours spread over 4 evenings. The course includes the MHFA manual, an e-learning module, a test and a certificate. Did you attend all meetings, successfully complete the e-learning and the test? Then you are officially a First Responder MHFA.
